Healthy Holiday Treats

The holidays used to be a time where I would OVER indulge. I’d binge eat the cookie dough, followed by the cookies themselves, + there was no stopping until I was literally sick. Then things changed. I started to UNDER indulge. I avoided even a bite of a cookie with the fear of getting “fat” or “ruining my progress”. I limited myself, restricted myself, + didn’t let myself enjoy holiday treats.

I’m so happy with the progress I’ve made in my relationship with food. I live by the 80/20 rule + it is what I pride myself in teaching the girls in my monthly virtual boot camps. The 80/20 principle is perfect for the holidays because I can have FUN foods + not guilt myself over it later! 80% intentional, 20% fun. It’s important to enjoy foods you love even when you are on a health journey! It’s also possible to find foods that are just as yummy but are “healthified”, too.

Here are FOUR amazing recipes for your sweet tooth fix! These treats are all natural + put a healthy twist on some of my favorites. Ingredients listed in the video + below!
